He is the nephew of actors Chiranjeevi and Pawan Kalyan and his cousins Ram Charan, Allu Arjun, Sai Dharam Tej, and Panja Vaishnav Tej are also actors in Tollywood.
He completed his schooling at Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan and St.Mary’s College Hyderabad. Varun met Lavanya Tripathi on the sets of their film Mister (2017) eventually they started dating and also worked together in Antariksham 9000 KMPH (2018). Varun Tej Career:
Varun Tej is an Indian actor who mainly works in the Telugu film industry, he debuted as a child artist when he was 10 years old in his father’s film Hand’s Up! After that Varun adult debut was Mukunda(2014) with Pooja Hegde that film got mixed reviews. His second film in 2015 is Kanche which is a war film, that movie got positive reviews from critics. His next release Lofaer in the same year was a box-office failure.
In 2017 Varun’s first film Mister also a failure, in the latter part of 2017 his second release Fidaa where he played the role of NRI, became a commercial super hit. In 2018 Varun’s release Tholi Prema was a box-office success, for that film Varun was widely appreciated for his performance as an impulsive young man. His next film was the space thriller Antariksham 9000 KMPH in 2018 by Sankalp Reddy.
In 2019 his first movie F2:Fun & Frustration which is a multistarrer movie with Victory Venkatesh opposite Tamannaah and Mehreen Pirzada, became a blockbuster. Later he starred in GaddalaKonda Ganesh which is a Remake of a Tamil film directed by Harish Shankar that is also a blockbuster. Then he worked in some other films like Ghani as a Boxer, the F2’s sequel of F3: Fun & Frustration in 2022, and Gandeevadhari Arjuna in 2023. Varun Tej’s upcoming films are Operation Valentine planned to release on 16 Feb 2024 and Matka.
